Comments, problems and requests.

Due to the Blogger interface, it is not possible for me to receive e-mail notification when a comment is left. So I've created this section for all comments to be left. In order to make a comment you must click the link at the foot of this post, you will then be able to view all comments, and leave your own.

Thanks for all your excellent work! It's much appreciated. I had just discovered it and gotten started on the Purple Chick stuff when you disappeared. Hopefully you won't get as much publicity this time. :)

Yes indeed Paul. Thank you for your efforts.

Did you realize that there are not hotlinks on the links page you've created on your Blogger site? Or was it just intended to be a list? Just checking.

Thanks again!

Yes, that's because I haven't posted anything yet. I was just getting it ready!

Hiya Paul. I'm so glad to see 6 plus 3 back again, and can't wait till you're up and running at full steam. Thank you so much for all your efforts in getting these Beatlegems to...well, US! :D

Cheers, Mr. Kite!

As everyone else, I am beyond grateful to Paul for the time/effort/money he has invested in spreading the music.

In the meantime folks, you can also use google's cache to get the old links to 6+3 in the meantime. Go to google and search for " site:6plus3.wordpress.com"

When the results come up, don't hit the hyperlink for the individual search results....instead read through each hit until you get to where it says, "Cached - Similar page" and hit "Cached." Just change your search results (i.e. add deluxe, bbc, etc) to find whichever specific album you need.

I also recently found your site and was loving the BBC set yet to come, and finally grabbing the Lazy Tortoise sets...
After the shutdown, I discovered I could still access most of the now gone pages through Google's cached versions of many of the site's old pages! I now see I wasn't the only one!
I was able to grab most of the set. I couldn't access Lazy Tortoise Germany 1966, though. Could you possibly get that back up?
Why was the old one deleted? A fellow Beatle fan friend of mine called me the other night to tell me he read a blurb in Rolling Stone magazine about the Purple Chick series of deluxe albums and how they're better than the official CDs and they're free on the internet... I wonder how much that could do?
Anyway, yeah, that LZT Germany 66 would be awesome, as would the BBC Sessions Purple Chick set complete. Thanks for the shares, my friend!

You know, I got to thinking about this more, and (regarding your comments conundrum), I remembered that Blogger allows for email notification of comments.

1. After logging in and getting to the Dashboard, click on the Settings link of the blog you wish to alter.

2. Next click on the Comments link.

3. At the very bottom of the page you will find "Comment Notification Email. You can enter up to ten email addresses, separated by commas. We will email these addresses when someone leaves a comment on your blog." Enter your email address and voila! You'll get an email whenever someone leaves a comment on the new 6 Plus 3 blog. Yes?

BTW: the logo you've designed for the Blogger version is awesome!

Yes I realised that after I'd set up the comments section! It's all irrelevant now anyway. After spending a painful few hours trying to get things looking right in Blogger, I finally gave up.

I have a copy of the original site, and my new hosting service uses Wordpress software, so I should be able to reload the site to that. It should look just as it did before. Give a couple of days.

We are all beyond excited! I'd even be willing to donate to you once you get your new server up. I do not know how to contact you...but if you let me know I will gladly contribute. After-all, it's not every day a stranger makes it possible to download a 51 set deluxe edition of the Beatle Records...and has it all neatly orginized in one place (and on megaupload.)

If not for you
Babe I'd be stuck downloading torrents.
I couldn't even see the floor
I'd be downloading all day and night
Because bit-torrents suck!
But you use megaupload.
And the downloads are quick and painless.
etc.

Dear Morninggloryseed

A million thanks for your instructions on getting the albums, even while the system is down, at present.

I am downloading "Help!" right now.

Not sure if I can get other albums than those which show up in the Google search, but anyway, its great!

I had lost hope of finding a track called "That means alot" but this appears on Help!

Fantastic!

Doug

I'm dying to get the Lazy Tortoise Germany 1966 offering... It's the only one I couldn't get through the Google cache of the old site!

Also as I said, those Purple Chick BBC sessions discs would be great to see finally, too!

I can't hardly wait to see those, and what else you've got up your sleeve for us! Thanks again keep up the good work hope you get back here soon.

Hi everyone, sorry for the lack of info lately, things have been rather hectic. I have just discovered that the '6 plus 3 blog' which some of you have been using for messages, has been suspended. In fact, even though I'm not doing anything illegal Wordpress have suspended the entire account.

The new site should be open by the end of the weekend. To start with it will be identical to the old one. but in time I'll be re-designing the interface, and adding new features. Any requests for added features are more than welcome. Tell me what you'd like to see, and I'll see if it can be implemented. Let's make this new site the best Beatles blog on the net!

I'll post more details later in the week.

Paul.

Btw, I've started a Beatles YouTube blog on Blogger: http://beatlesonfilm.blogspot.com/ There are currently 75 video's, and I'll be adding more as the days roll by.

Paul - Many many thanks for the 6 plus 3 site - appreciate all the effort and I suspect hassle you've had too ! Keen to see more ebbetts transfers when your back up online. But .. I do have a plea to anyone who has the fabs Kaleidescope boot, is basically 4 track separation like the pepper multi-track disc but never been able to find or trade a copy. If there's an upload please post - thx Steve

Glad to see you're back!

I think I managed to grab the Dr. Ebbetts stuff you had before (and a big THANKS! for that). Do you have any other Ebbetts titles you could share?

Thanks for sharing1

Much love and props from me as well. Can't wait to have the site up and running again.

Could someone clear up something that's confusing me?

"Just change your search results (i.e. add deluxe, bbc, etc) to find whichever specific album you need."

Where do you change your search results? When I enter that information, I only get about 13 or 14 results. When I click on "cached" it takes me to the page I'm looking for, but where do I go from there? Obviously, none of the links inside the cached page don't work, and I can't do a search from within the cached page. What am I doing wrong?

Paul has done a fantastic job for us all. I managed to get most of the stuff available but I've struggled to get hold of Magical Mystery Tour sterio disc 1
Any ideas on how I can get the megaupload free link for Magical Mystery Tour stereo - disc 1

Please go to:

http://4000holes.wordpress.com/

This is a temporary site. At the moment it looks just like the old one, though there are some images missing. Let me know if there are any broken links. I think all the links on the 'Hotlinks' page are broken.

Cheers.

Paul.

Hello,

This is Elementary Penguin, formerly of Penny Lane.

The Word Press site seems to have vanished altogether. It says that it was deleted by the user.

I hope everything is okay.

Any word on the new site?
